Running amarok 1.4.10 on Open Solaris

Prerequisities:

- SUNWjpg
- SUNWlibmng
- SUNWTiff
- SUNWruby18r
- SUNWruby18u

as well as the complete X desktop as installed by the normal Open Solaris
install routine.

Install the packages in this order:

- SOBgcclibs
- SOBqt3
- SOBqca
- SOBkde3cmn
- SOBkrb5
- SOBcyrussasl
- SOBopenldap-client
- SOBsamba
- SOBarts
- SOBffmpeg
- SOBxine-lib
- SOBlibidn
- SOBtaglib
- SOBlibgpod
- SOBkdelibs3
- SOBkdebase3
- SOBamarok

In case you want Kopete:

- SOBkdenetwork3

In case you want xine-ui:

- SOBxine-ui


To install each package:
e.g. SOBgcclibs:

gunzip SOBgcclibs.pkg.gz
pkgadd -d SOBgcclibs.pkg



Put /opt/kde3/bin/amarok in your menu panel. You're ready!

KDE apps from kdebase are also available, like Konqueror, kate, ...


In case you get errors about missing gcclib_s.so-Libraries, make sure that
/usr/local/lib is in your crle(1)-path.
